MATERIALS MATTER

We choose materials for how they feel, how they perform and how they age. For this reason, we decided against using leather or gold plating. Leather is a porous material that absorbs bacteria, and gold plating can't be restored once it fades or accumulates scratches. They might look great out of the box, but over time lose their lustre and appeal. We wondered, what if we could change that...

We opted for our range to be predominantly made from solid polished brass and silicone instead.

BRASS - a beautiful, weighty and durable material that does not rust. Brass is a material, not a coating, so there is nothing to wear away. It can be polished, restored and brought back to an immaculate golden shine. 

SILICONE - a non-porous, soft durable material that can handle up to 250°C. It does not absorb bacteria and can be thoroughly sanitised with boiling water, making it exceptionally easy to care for.
